Spike

Spike takes his responsibilities very seriously. He stands a little straighter than the other Guardians, watches doors, keeps an eye on backpacks and makes sure important things stay exactly where they are supposed to be.

From across the room, Spike can look intimidating. That is intentional. Nobody needs to know that he secretly likes soft blankets, sentimental notes and being included in photographs.

Spike became protective after travelling with someone who was nervous about doing things alone. He discovered that bravery is not about never feeling nervous. Sometimes bravery is simply having something beside you while you do it.
