Doze has never understood why everyone is in such a hurry. He believes most problems look slightly less serious after a nap, a warm drink or five quiet minutes doing absolutely nothing.
He first made his home beside a very busy person's bed. Every evening he watched notebooks close, phones finally get put down and the world become quiet again. That became his purpose.
Doze is the Guardian of switching off. He travels with people who need reminding that resting is not the same as doing nothing. Somehow he always seems to wake up exactly when you need him.
